Welcome

I am grateful you are here. The Lord has called me to this new ministry: sharing my faith through inspired writing and pottery.

The Book

What if the story of Adam and Eve is not simply about what was lost in the Garden-but about what happened afterwards?

Come and explore this theme with me in my new book:

My Days in the Garden and Beyond

‍ ‍… a story about you

Meet the Author

Hello, my name is Gretchen McNeese, a follower of Jesus.

About four years ago, the Holy Spirit prompted me to write a story, and I quickly said NO. I argued that I don’t even write in a journal. How could I ever write a story/book? My no turned into a YES as my brain was flooded with words late one night; I took out my computer and started typing.

So why was I supposed to write about Adam? That answer would come later.

What if Adam could tell you, in his own voice, everything that happened after Eden?

My Days in the Garden and Beyond is a tender, imaginative retelling of salvation history—narrated by Adam himself, from the breath of his first day of life to the promise of a new earth still to come. Walk with him through the Garden as he names the animals, feels the presence of God beside him, and learns what it means to be made in the image of his Creator. Then follow him beyond the Fall, into the long story of grace, redemption, and the hope that carries all the way to Revelation.

Woven with Scripture, Catholic teaching, and rich sensory detail, this short story invites you to feel Eden as Adam felt it—the fragrance, the wonder, the closeness of God—before descending into loss and rising again into hope. In a world weighed down by division and despair, Adam's story offers something rare: a reminder that we were created "good," that we are not abandoned, and that the Garden was never meant to be lost forever.

Part meditation, part narrative, and wholly rooted in faith, this book is for readers who long to return—even for a little while—to the place where God walked among us.

Come walk with Adam and Eve. The Garden is closer than you think.
